Room 18 groups...
In our class we have five groups.
Each group has an elected leader. The leader of The Eels is Emma, The Sharks is Ashleigh, The Bulldogs is Naami, Te whanau is Dominique and the leader of The Panthers is Arama.
We earn points for our groups by participating and winning group challenges as well as displaying Heart in class.
The groups are:
The Sharks: Ashleigh, Tukino, Keegan, J.C, Aidan and Caroline.
The Eels: Emma, Tylen, Jeremy, Ginny, Nikesha, Clinton.
The Panthers: Arama, Kauika, Kane, Hope, Tiana, Hamish.
The Te Whanau: Dominique, Cyson, Papa, Joey, Thomas.
The Bulldogs: Naami, Tchanze, Shawnee, Domanick, Levi. Devin
We are learning about one another and to build an enjoyable relationship with our classmates.

Cross country !

We did it! Our class won the cross country cup. We were so proud when three students from our class crossed the finish line in first place. It’s the first time our class has won the trophy, but sadly the trophy has gone missing and we are eager to find it.

Wacky hair day

Wacky hair day was a blast! It was good to see so much people getting in to it. Our class had a challenge to do. The winners of the challenge got to wacky-up a member of the losing team’s hair. And the team that came second got to do the same to the second to last team. The results were The Sharks first, then The Eels, Te Whanau, The Panthers and The Bulldogs. The winning team members Ashleigh and Tukino got to wacky up Tchanze’s hair from the losing team.

They had fun, painting his hair, sticking colourful ribbons and glitter in. Next Emma and Jeremy got to wacky up Kauika’s hair.


It was fun, but not for him. He cried like a baby because he didnt like it. After a while he enjoyed his new look and style.

Buddy time .

Every wednesday room 18 and 19 get together for some buddy time .This week we taught room 19 how to use comic life !
